🦺 ALERT (SR-210): Little Cottonwood Canyon
UDOT will be installing Wyssen Avalanche Towers, a type of Remote Avalanche Control System (RACS) on the Mt. Superior ridgeline above the road from July 8 – October 2024. Intermittent road closures may occur throughout the project on the mainline below Mt. Superior. The Bypass road will remain open to use as an alternative. A recreation area closure will be in place for the duration of the project, see map for closure area. 🦺 ALERT (SR-190): Cottonwoods Connection
Crews are actively installing the new Cottonwoods Connection water line on Big Cottonwood Canyon Road, east of Wasatch Blvd. Traffic has been shifted to the south side of the road. Drivers and recreation users should expect work Mon. through Fri. during daylight hours, with single lane closures in place 24 hours a day; intermittent lane closures on Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd east of Wasatch Blvd; access restrictions from Mineshaft Rd to Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd., detour to Wasatch Blvd.; occasional nighttime construction activities; increased construction traffic in the area.
