Cottonwood canyons ski Resorts //

Snowbird and Alta Ski Area are located in Little Cottonwood Canyon (SR-210). Brighton Resort and Solitude Mountain Resort are located in Big Cottonwood Canyon (SR-190). Each resort has individual visitor management policies and parking systems. 

All resorts have digital signs at the mouth of the canyons to notify visitors of their parking lots status (limited, full, etc.). Please read these signs before driving up.

Snowbird offers a variety of ways to park at the resort, including the ability to park in free lots on a first-come, first-served basis, pay for reserved daily parking in advance or purchase a Preferred Parking Pass. The Snowbird App allows you to see parking lot updates, real-time chairlift wait times along with chairlift and trail status updates, and opt-in to push notifications for weather, resort info and more. Brighton Resort offers free first-come, first-served parking as well as a limited amount of reserved parking for $25/day to receive a guaranteed spot in the lot held until 12:00 p.m. the day of your reservation.

Solitude parking rates are tiered based on vehicle occupancy. Paid parking will be in effect daily from 12:01am to 2:00pm during the winter season.
