Check out the traffic dashboard, the UDOT Traffic Cameras in each canyon, digital signs and road weather forecasts. Need a car rental or shuttle to get to your ski lodge? Get more info about transit here.

Each resort in the Cottonwood Canyons has their own policies and parking systems, but all have digital signs at the mouth of the canyons to notify visitors of their parking lots status (limited, full, etc.). Please read these signs before driving up.

TRAVEL TIPS

🚨Be prepared for variable conditions throughout canyons

👉 Help reduce congestion: carpool, delay travel or wait for UTA 🚨Make sure your vehicles are properly equipped before entering canyons or wait for UTA ski bus.

👉 Check resort parking status: it has been filling quickly and may fill while you’re driving up

👉 Do not illegally roadside park

6pm(2/19) – 6am(2/20): Light snow showers as early as 8pm bringing 1-2” in the canyons

6am(2/20) – 6pm(2/20): Spotty snow showers continue for the day. 1-2” road snow possible

If you’re up the canyons today, you know it’s busy. With the high volume of traffic seen in both canyons, significant downhill delays are likely.

‼️Consider an early departure or be prepared for fully stopped traffic at times this PM in upper canyons. 🐍
